As a restaurant in the state of California, there are laws that regulate how you dispose of trash, recyclables and food waste at your business. Diverting material from the landfill is an important action we all can take to help keep our county clean and keep materials in circulation for future use. By recycling right, you demonstrate to employees and customers that your restaurant cares about sustainability, and you may find that you save money on your garbage bill.
The IWMA can provide FREE bins, trainings and other resources to your restaurant to help you comply with these requirements. Upon submital of the above survey, the IWMA will reach out to the provided contact at your restaurant to offer resources.
